    All I have for the schematics is that picture I've posted above. Although it might seem very complicated at a first glance, it's actually pretty simple:

    • There are three stepper motor drivers (pololu A4988) connected to an Arduino. You will certainly find a lot of good tutorial explaining that on the internet.
    • Moreover, I've connected the limit switches of each axis to a digital pin of the Arduino Mega board and to ground (+activating the internal pullups).
    • The same applies to the two light barriers.
    • The color sensor is connected to an analog pin in order to get values between 0 and 1023. Last but not least, I've connected
    • The magnet valve is connected to an H-Bridge chip as it consumes more current than the Arduino's I/Os can deliver.

    I'm sorry, I can't provides schematics as I have never drawn some. If you like to build one, I can recommend Adafruit's motorshields to control the stepper motors and the DC motor that lifts the pen. It requires only some minor software changes to adapt a alternative motor shields.
