The sensor DS18B20 has four types of resolution. I think if you use the highest resolution (12 bit) you may have more precise results.

Great tutorial, but I do not recommend use o f ACS712, because low sensitivity and bad linearity.
And ADC of Arduino (low resolution for this project) is very instable...
