So, I haven't published the details of the mechanicals of this 'beest. That being said, I believe this guy: https://twitter.com/HobbyIngenieur has published his designs (which are quite similar and helped inspire the gear system). I'd recommend checking his work out, especially since you speak German!
That's really neat. Any suggestion as to the best place to get one of these shields? I don't see it on Amazon or eBay, though maybe I'm not searching the correct term.
