You are right, it is a library issue, at least from the LCD one. The DS3231 library is from Henning Carlsen at http://www.rinkydinkelectronics.com/library.php?id=73. I'll update the project and the repository to include links to the libraries, but I have no idea why you got such an error.

Hi Piars, sorry for such a late answer, Hackster never notified me about any comments.
Unfortunately I cannot help you with your issue. I re-checked the gerber in the project's repository and it is fine, I even ordered a new batch of the PCBs 3 months ago and they worked great. I can't go further than that, nor can I track any problems with the PCBs you received from the manufacturer or something else.

I could include more photos, but really, the gist of it all is the schematic and how the menu looks.
Now, regarding the two LCDs you have, I really lack time to do anything now due to studies. You could try to make the older version of the welder I have though, which has a classic 1602 LCD and it's without a clock: https://github.com/SauROnmiKE/SpotWelder_V1
