Hi, I would design a dent on the pinion gear to fit the untrimmed servo arm. It will reduce the dependance on the glue to prevent sliding.
The GitHub you find is probably my previous course repo (catMini?) for my university. Raspberry Pi is optional for higher level AI, but is not required for the walking or motion. Go to the bottom section of the table of contents at https://github.com/borntoleave/catMini/wiki . You can find some instructions. The repo is obsolete though.
I haven't decided the business plan for the cat, and the printed version is too complicated to make.
