    Sorry I don't know about this, but first try to use the ADC alone with a test code to check if everything is working right then test it with the code, also don't forget about the library; the calucation there are for 10 bits ADC so try to adjust, and also for the sampling rate it's over there too...goodluck

    Hi, no problem, the slope and intercept are just some basic algebra (y=ax+b) where "a" is the slope and "b" is the intercept.
    (let's suppose that the calculations are done)
    for x=0V as input you should have y=0V
    but you'll find that "y" is different from 0
    so you set "b=-y" and you get (if x=0 then y=0)
    and for other known values you'll have "x", "y" and "b" are known and you look for "a" (the slope) it's like a linear calibration.
    So this is done after, and what's done before is a bit difficult, and you should look for "standard deviation" and "average square value" and don't forget in the library they are just called not explained as well if you want to know how it's done inside the library you'll find yourself in some very deep things... so it's better to look for the statistics things I told you and more important to calculate the RMS of a signal by hand and use the formula that works with every signal not just the sinewave ones and you'll understand the deal

    Hi, to understand better you can check the "RunningStatistics.cpp" file from the library, you'll find the mathematical functions, it takes the input which is an analog one, do some sampling then calculate the average square value and after the standard deviation...
    For the intercept and slope you can make the input as 0 and you should have 0 then take a known value and calibrate the slope
    For the "current_Volts= current_Volts*(40.3231)" actually I had this lying around for 2 years and first it was mean't to measure "Current" so multiplied by (40.3231).
    About the multimeter, cheap multimeters measure all AC signals as sinewaves, if you want to use it to calibrate, measure AC sinewave signal from a socket or after a transformer, but since I used a Triac based light dimmer I had to use a TRMS multimeter to get the right value.

    Hi, thanks I bought it for 3$ from aliexpress, you can order it there or from SparkFun, there are some variations but the important is the MAX30102 chip, there's also MAX30105, I think it can work with this library and these codes.

    First, please re-download the code again because I did some modifications.
    In the loop while you can do "while( code != 1)" and in that add some little instructions like to get a key and if the key is 3 it passes to the next instructions to get the key if it is 4 it continues like that and the last should set the code to 1 so you can get out of the while loop, this method is used in door locks but has a security fail, you can use it if you just make sure you're awake ...
