Thanks! That's basically the conclusion I've come to in the past few months. The DHT22 would also measure temperatues below zero so it could serve as a tiny weather station with one or two added sensors (working on that). I just had the DHT11 lying around when I made the first prototype, so I used that.
And the soil sensor is extremely unreliable, one the one hand due to its positioning and uneven water distribution inside the planter and on the other hand the arduino won't get a consistent reading (that works much better with the UNO than with the Feather but still...)
