An Arduino code that displays on a small 0.98" OLED SSD1306 Date/Time and also calculates and displays Salat Time for a given town
I don't have this LCD, but if you have the LCD it is not complicated to adapt my code to your LCD screen
Sorry for my late replay, did you solve the problem?
I just tried again to recompile with the latest version of U8g2 2.25.10, it worked !
Are you sure you use the Arduino nano HW config?
I use Hardware I2C which is faster:
U8G2_SSD1306_128X64_NONAME_2_HW_I2C u8g2(U8G2_R0, /* clock=/ SCL, / data=*/ SDA); // (rotation, [reset [, clock, data]])
but you can configure the U8G2 to use software I2C, which is much slower
see the help on U8g2 site
I already made this on dspic and pic24F
some of my code are freely available on:
and the arduino one is on https://github.com/blotfi/SalatTime-Arduino-oled
You must be aware that is a responsibility to give the correct time for Salat / Siam!
I also implemented a personal version on Wemos to connect to NTP clock and get date/time from internet.
But with the smartphone availability and price drop... it has a super screen, sound, charging, precise clock based on carrier... and you can program it to do what ever yo want
