Thanks for sharing! Dashing has been stable enough for my usage, but I would like to check out that fork anyway.
I've uploaded the code I used for both the Arduino sketch and the python daemon: https://www.hackster.io/colinodell/multi-dashboard-display-with-arduino-controller-efb4a5#code
The Arduino simply sends a single character over the USB serial connection. For button presses, it'll send a number between 1 and 4. When motion occurs, it'll send the letter "M". The Python daemon receives these and handles them accordingly - all of the URLs are defined within that Python code.
