Most probably the latency may be due to the wireless modules. The Hc-12 module only transmits its signal once the input buffer is filled and that may cause the observed delay. You can try using different baud rates for the communication between the modules or try changing the default mode of the hc-12 through the AT commands. This may help reduce some latency.

Thanks a lot!! The HC-12 modules are not Bluetooth modules, they are wireless serial communication modules. The list of hardware components have been updated to show two HC-12 Modules.

Try using the arduino libraries for nRF24L01 module
Refer to this link for the receiver and sender code: http://howtomechatronics.com/tutorials/arduino/arduino-wireless-communication-nrf24l01-tutorial/

Can you please provide your code?

You have to establish another serial communication port using the SoftwareSerial library of arduino through which the HC-12 modules will communicate on both the ends. The serial port you are using in the code is the inbuilt one from pins 0 and 1 which the arduino uses to communicate with the computer so you are able to see the output on the serial monitor but not send the data.

Can you please provide the sender as well as receiver end code and schematics?
