Thanks for bringing this up! When there are no emergency measures in place, it's a simple matter of using the already existing relays and IoT connectivity to allow the user to monitor and control electricity usage per floor. This could be useful for those outside of their home to ensure the safety of their property.
As mentioned earlier, this project recognizes that many circuit breakers and fuses will need to be waterproofed for it to work. Moreover, it's mostly designed for homes with secondary power supplies so they can still use the existing infrastructure.
