This is a simple IR sensor block detector for model railroads. It controls three lights: red, yellow and green.

Would you share that code with me? As I said I'm just learning how to do code.
That is one of several bugs in this program. I'm just learning code for arduino and I'm trying to something piratical with it. As it is if you back out of the block the light will stay red until the other sensor is triggered. Also if a train stops on the other sensor once the yellow sequence ends it will go back to red and the other sensor will have to be triggered to start the yellow sequence. So right now its a way to add animation to the lights of a model rail road, not actual block detection. More like an enter, exit detection.
Thanks for your interest. I'm still working on it.
