    Hi,
    ESP8266 is very limited in its hardware. But you could think about setup minor values, instead send an entire struct with a lot of fields.

    Hi,
    No, you need only one esp8266. 
    And yes, you use the first board 'setup' only to deploy the update of your firmware, and the second 'setup' to install 
    the software with Arduino IDE. Thanks.
