The SSR I used is pretty much the same as the SSR you linked to. It requires 7.5mA at 12 volts: http://www.fotek.com.hk/solid/SSR-1.htm
I haven’t measured the draw at 5 volts but it’s should be around 20 mA which the arduino can handle.
Like Rich said the arduino is just powering an LED inside the SSR to turn the relay on and off
