The idea is to create a functional Droideka from Star Wars, or at least something as close to it as possible!

Totally agree on that. The challenge is to make it work ;) To be fair, I don't know to what extent my robot will look like an actual Droideka...
Hey, thanks for the input! I am not locked on anything regarding the legs yet, inverse kinematics seemed an interesting way to precisely control the robot, but I will do some research on elastic actuators, and decide what I want to do then. It definitely looks like an interesting alternative.
I will also take a look at Matt Denton's channel, thanks for the advice!
