About this project

Hi guys,

This is for "dance enthusiasts." I still remember that occasion, one of my friends discussed with me about adding some creative element in dance, obviously that was the turning point that made me to design a "LUMIERE SUIT."

The suit was made for our dance team for a college arts fest, and my team won the competition with great support, and it was like a great exposure to the college.

Got lots of appreciation from college faculties and the video gone viral in social media and it was just like a proud moment for me.

So, now let's see how I made and executed my LUMIERE SUIT.

STEP 1: Collecting necessary components

STEP 2: Soldering

I designed three suits, so first I made three circuits to drive the LED strips.

STEP 3: Giving power

It uses mainly two voltage sources:

* one for arduino through a 5V regulator IC

*one for powering LED strips by using two 9V batteries in series through a 12V regulator IC.

The entire connections are integrated on a high density foam board for rigidity.

STEP 4: Collecting hoodies and pants

The major factor before buying a hoodies or pants is that you should buy large size of yours because after installation of LED, while stretching your hand there is a chance of damage to LED.
