Update and fixes done.
I should have added a link to the used CAN driver. While looking for updated repositories, I noticed that there are two Arduino-like drivers. The frist one is from the "demo", the second one is a fork of it with extension. The fork caused some trouble for me because of a strange behaviour in case no further frames are received: there still the indicator for new frames is set, but it's always the data from the last received one. The frist driver acts here proberly and is not reporting further frames:
