    In the scheme is missing joystick switch connection. It it connected to pin 11. Thanks for finding mistake and sharing it with me.

    These joysticks have five pins. Two for powering (Vcc an Gnd) two for each axis (X and Y) and one for button.
    Vcc -> 5V
    Gnd -> Gnd
    VRx -> Analog input
    VRy -> Analog input
    SW -> Digial input

    It's very easy. At VRx and VRy you get values from 0 to 1023. Value depends on how you move the joystick (255 is in the middle) and button is classic 0 and 1 state on digital input.

    If course he can put a claw instead of suction cup. A claw comes with another RC servo motor So he can control it by joystick as other servos on this robot or with buttons. It's his thing how he wants to control it. You can buy it on eBay or Aliexpress for under 10€. Here is one link for one claw: goo.gl/jJU14X

    Maybe if you have 3D printer or one of your friends have it you can design it by yourself. And then you just need one servo motor and this is it.

    Unfortunately I don't have the code for this but is very easy to write it. If you are going to control it by joystick or pushbutton you can just copy code for one of the four servos in my robot. Well... if you will control it by pushbuttons you need to change it a little bit. But if you want to have just two positions of the claw you need to know positions of servo motor on open an closed claw and that's all. Then you just need to add on pushbutton to change the state of the claw.
